Airdyne Chiller System
Closed Loop Chillers recirculate a clean coolant at a constant temperature and pressure to increase the stability and reproducibility of water cooled machines and instruments. Air cooled chillers eliminate the use of tap water and prevent the clogging and corrosion of small diameter heat exchanges due to rust and scale build up.
Airdyne Chillers use a storage-type cooling tank to provide close temperature control of recirculating coolants. The tank is sealed to prevent coolant evaporation and fouling. It comes with a liquid level gauge, fill port and clean out. The pump recirculates the coolant at a constant pressure and flow which is adjustable by turning a manual bypass valve.
Quality construction and a variety of options provide dependable cooling. The Airdyne Chiller solves and eliminates closed loop cooling problems.
Features of the Chiller System
The system accommodates up to 18 barrels. Choice of nine standard models available for frozen ice cream/yogurt/ice machine.
Each system is equipped with a durable galvanized cabinet, staggered copper tube coils with aluminum fins, centrifugal pump, fan motor assembly, thermal expansion tank with fill port, pump bypass with adjustable pressure relief valve, automatic air venting valve, fan cycle thermostat, main fused disconnect and fluid manifolds.
